Lost in transitions ?
What's a crisis ? Some say it's a storm that may even be ridden, some say it's a marshpit and you can only resist by standing still; others consider the hard times we are currently facing is a transition towards a new economic era. We are still wondering.
Signals are not yet that positive, as we are clearly facing transitional times between crisis and growth, but also in terms of regulation. The market of ex-Vins de Table, now Vins sans IG is a significant example, with technical transitions impacting on economic results.
Wine professionals, however, remain proactive (to use a trendy word) : Val d'Orbieu wishes to prosper in Russia, Bordeaux confirms its leadership on Sauvignon, Patrimoine des Terroirs registers a double-digit growth.
